Over the last 15 days, the entrepreneurs of the 5th Cleantech Camp edition have been able to attend the first training sessions corresponding to the Lisboa week. In a virtual way, the people who follow the program had the opportunity to enjoy some intense days, with different workshops and masterclasses led by experts, as well as a networking event, which closed the first days of training.
The Lisboa week kicked off on Tuesday 13th of October with a Welcome reception hosted by the Camara Municipal de Lisboa and the Cleantech Camp team. After this first meeting, the entrepreneurs were able to follow the workshops, the first one focused on Lean Methodology, which was given by Ton Guardiet and, the second, on “customer validation” by Carlos Dasilva.
The next day, the participants had an intense activity with the Master Classes given by the professor and co-founder of Canopy, Stewart Noakes, about team management and business models.
Firsts steps for pilot preparation
The first training week has also served for the different projects to start working on their pilots. On Tuesday 13th, the entrepreneurs sent to our partners the first draft with their pilot proposal. Once the approach was formalized, the proposals were evaluated for a couple of days to determine the ones that best suit the needs of each partner.
It is precisely from this initial work that the pilot tests have emerged, which have aroused the greatest interest and that will continue to be developed during the program. In this sense, on Friday 16th the pilot-test tutoring session took place and had the participation of entrepreneurs, partners, and a coach (who will accompany during the entire development process). These work sessions will continue over the next few weeks, in order to continue advancing, to be able to present the final proposal, coinciding with the end of the program.
Networking event to close Lisboa
The week in Lisboa closed on Thursday 22nd, with the celebration of a networking event. During this day, the program was presented and the entrepreneurs were able to explain their projects to investors and other guests of interest, as well as, in the case of those startups that requested it, hold individual meetings with them. The training sessions will continue throughout October and November with the virtual weeks in Barcelona and Madrid.
