Spain, Portugal, and France, the countries that monopolize the origin of the projects received
Cleantech Camp 2020 has received more than 70 projects, from different countries in Europe, that aspired to follow this year’s program, of which nearly 50 have passed a first selection phase. Starting in September, among all these projects will emerge the 15 chosen by the Selection Committee to participate in Cleantech Camp.
Spain, bringing 25 projects, is the country that has presented the highest number of proposals, followed by Portugal with 11 and France with 5. In addition to these countries, projects originating in Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Greece, and Mexico have also been presented.
Regarding the solutions proposed by the entrepreneurs who aspire to follow the program, the proposals related to mobility stand out: this aspect is addressed in nine of the projects presented. Circular Economy, Renewable Energies and Smart Cities are also leading sectors, with a good number of projects that expose this type of solution, followed by a greater distance by projects related to biogas and hydrogen, energy storage or Smart Girds, among others.
The quality of the projects received in this edition is a clear sign that the sector is going through a great moment in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship. We are anxious to discover the projects that will be finally selected to participate in Cleantech Camp 2020 in September.
